Thought so
Interestingly a 110 from when they were first listed was saved with a few option but only a 2.0 lower spec 110 but it was £60K all in. almost 2 years on that would probably fetch the same now.... |

Yes, it’s a crazy market.
I was being slightly facetious, sorry, but one or two here have said they’ve negotiated a small discount. No harm in chatting your dealership sales manager, but with a massive order book and supply still tight you know it’s going to be a long shot. Timing can help sometimes, maybe towards end of month/quarter/year when targets are up for grabs they might be keen to get a signature. |

A year ago, through my own dithering, I missed the original MY22 pricing by a couple of weeks.
Annoyed, but not deterred, I bit the bullet and stumped up a deposit on a MY23 110 at around £4k more than the original MY22 price. "Never mind" I thought. "It's 2021, I'm buying a MY23, there's no way I'll need to worry about another price rise. What are they going to do, bring out a MY24 in 2022!?!".... August 2022:...enter MY23.5 with a £5K price rise This market is brutal. The punter can choose to cancel, and end up paying overs on something with 10k on the clock, or bend over the barrel and hope the market doesn't return to normal too quickly.. Long gone are the days where the salesperson 'goes to speak to the manager' and comes back with a set of mats and £500 off the sticker price..[/b] |

Most Manufacturers have removed all fleet discount terms currently because they are struggling for new stock and don’t need to.
When things recover I’m sure some level of volume/loyalty discount will return for most. At present the “when things recover” is an unknown and predictions keep moving… it’s a bonkers world we are currently in Ride like you stole it!! If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do… 2011 2.4 Puma 90 HT |

I read this week that Samsung are having a large write down on profits due to their inability to get enough semi-conductors. If they are struggling, you can bet most car manufacturers are having a worse time.
It must be a grim time to be in new car sales. If you are paid most of your income in bonus from sales, and you can't get hold of the stock, that must really suck. As interest rates rise, we may see 'normal' returning a lot quicker than we might have predicted. |

l ordered a 90 Commercial in January and first the D200 was discontinued so l had to change to
the D250 at a further £3,000 Then in August the price went up a further £4,000. However it seems Land Rover are still not making enough money, their recent financial statements showing a large loss so far this year. |

Yes. I had around £6200 off my P400 (8.9% I think) and even the dealer that bought it was surprised

We did the Carwow thing before ordering ours - every dealer response was just at retail price...
