We buy any car vs Land Rover
I have been thinking for a while now I would like a change after having the new defender since they first came out. I was wanting to know what it’s worth and WBAC said £55.300 then the very next day I get a email from Land Rover saying if I’m selling there buying.
I am booked in Land Rover for a valuation and just wanted to ask if WBAC are offering £55,300 what should I expect from Land Rover ? I have added quite a few extras onto the defender that WBAC wouldn’t know about all done my Land Rover so I’m expecting a better offer from Land Rover I think ?

If you go onto the Land Rover approved page, it will take you through a page on your details and you can then enter in your vehicle reg and mileage where they'll then provide a trade in estimate. When I did it yesterday on my RR Sport, WBAC value was about £1k bigger than the LR Approved website. It doesn't seem that extras are worth much in trade in prices unfortunately, which is why when you do a PCP, you'll notice the GFV doesn't change irrespective of your extras which means that you pay for the cost of those extras + interest over the period of your PCP! Hope this helps!

Pentland Dundee matched WBAC when I sold my 90.

I’m thinking about selling the 110, knowing that I’m a Land Rover fan boy Laughing they’ve asked if I’d be interested in a 75th Anniversary Edition 90 but it’s an eye watering price over the HSE it’s based on, so not holding my breath on a deal. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

I’ll be trading in my 110HSE against the new 130, I’m hoping that Taggarts will be matching the WBAC price too......

Don’t go into a deal wanting dealers to match your we buy any car offer… expect and demand more.

Use the we buy any car offer as a starting point as they will be trading out of it for a tidy markup you Thumbs Up Ride like you stole it!!
If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do…

Quite surprised Land Rover price was £1500 lower than we buy any car was expecting them to at least match that offer. I am buying a bmw so waiting now to hear a price from them on a trade in.

I always thought the WBAC was a trade price. Rather than retail? Surely your vehicle would sell for more as a private sale. Unless you are after quick cash then WBAC look good. 110 D250 SE HT

I’ve heard a few say they’ve got better quotes from Motorway or Cazoo than WBAC or dealership.

Give Goobyecar.uk a try, they're part of Peter Vardy group.

On the wife's Evoque they offered £1.5k more than WBAC and over £4k more than Pentland LR 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon

Have a look across on Auto Trader. Find a Defender of similar mileage, age and spec and then put yours on for £2k less.

It will go in a week.

They seem to start around around £60k WBAC have now said £56500 that’s not too far away and I’m guessing it’s fast and hassle free. I am just wondering if you actually go to sell to WBAC do they try and cut you down when you go to sell ?
