D150 and P150

Can anybody confirm the MY23 Defenders will be fitted with the new 3 cylinder 1500cc engines.
Should I wait until the D100 and P100 come out in MY24, or hold off until the single pot versions arrive in 2026?

Nothing heard about a 3 cilinder.

But, Do good things come to those who wait ?

Buy a P300 while you still can and enjoy it, IMHO No Mud flaps for my 90.!

The current trend is for smaller engines that seem to have as much power output as their larger counterparts.

I can see a 1500cc engine being a fair bit more economical than the current engines. My friend has a Ford C-Max (7 seater people carrier)
lt's got a tiny 1.0 3 cylinder petrol, it is not short on performance in fact it goes very well indeed. The other advantage is the power unit is much lighter in weight.
