Hello,
I just found on ebay a possible alternative. I ordered already 1 m for 12 € and will keep you informed if my 90 will be happy with this additional sealing. ![]() See: https://www.ebay.de/itm/323774246804?hash=...BM1PaI7vNg |

its a very unusual shape and i have searched on line for a long time and i have not seen a profile like it ![]() the closest i coulf find is this ![]() Click image to enlarge but the it costs £4 on e bay but postage from Europe is £20....... there are a few on e bay with profiles that might work ... ![]() Some folk on here have used d shaped rubber seal on the bonnet and i wonder if that may stop the ingress.....i personally wont pay 50 notes for 16inches of rubber ![]() ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge |

That might work ..might be a loose fit but you could silicone it in place ..it looks as though for a short piece you could bend it over in a vice to look a little like the original! Its very strange that LR look to have had a bespoke profile made rather than use something of the shelf?Im sure the exact profile is out there somewhere ion a FORD or dusty Rover shelf. |

In the meantime, I got the seal and installed it. I did not use any Sikaflex or similar in the first step (I'll give it a try). In addition to the seal, I also took an old bicycle inner tube and glued a part of it from the gutter to the wing. Now the water is no longer running into the engine bay.
