Obviously there’s no circuit connection between the headlamps and the tach, audio etc. so you must have inadvertently disconnected and/or moved something in the process of fitting. That said, you wouldn’t necessarily have been working behind the dashboard to fit the headlamps so I can only ‘guess’ you’ve interfered with an earth?
Are you sure it is the headlamp fitting that has caused the issue as you may be chasing a red herring? |

So I just removed and replaced all the lights. (I Did not do side repeaters or headlamps) I was very slow doing this I checked all the ends to make sure I was hooking the wires up it was pretty easy 6 lights are 2 wire and brake and running lights are 3 wire x2….I had been turning ignition on and off all day and when I took it out for a drive low and behold kenwood head unit and tach was working…..the only other item I messed with was the flasher that was plug and play as you know……I’m going to let it go and see what happens or the next few days.
