Interesting. Had two previously and hated both mainly because of the ride. Cant find fault with this one and maybe clinical is a good way to put it.

Dont miss the fast charging and to be honest it is a bug bear of mine.

Run an EV for work and seeing hybrids on chargers is a tad frustrating and I think there would be restrictions. I have a site in Guildford and without question there is always a BMW 3 series hybrid charging at 3.6kwh at 7.45am in the morning. I assume its a staff member's car. We stop and fuel up at the Cafe so ideal to put the ID3 for 5-6kw (about 25miles+). The BMW will be around 1/3 that with the reduced charging and miles / kwh range. What is the point?

Battery life....yes that is a worry. Heard about 2 that have packed up recently. Cost to replace is £23k Whistle

Just bought a 2013 XC70 D4 AWD to help munch out the miles to Wales and back.

First trip away in the defender, on tiree and first experience of charging away from home, have to say its been good, there is a 50kw charger on the island, never a queue and battery is charging from zero to 80% in just under 25 mins and the cost is 25.9kw so top up to 80% is costing about £2.70. 23my p400e x dynamic hse, fuji white, towing pack, comfort and convenience, e diff, activity key, 3 zone climate, cold climate and a host of accessories. Now gone.

Good price, particularly from a fast charger.

I looked at one across from where I was staying in Wales and at 65p /kWh it wasn't worth it. Hence I never saw a vehicle on it the 3 days I was there. (Llandovery)
