This should work :
Wash grill area so there are no abrasive / grit particles Use a hairdryer/hot air gun to carefully warm the area softening the adhesive Use either dental floss or fine fishing monofilament in a up-down sawing action working from one side to the other. The badge should come away after cutting it away. Use a solvent like white spirit or tar remover to remove the sticky residue Importanty go slowly and carefully use more heat if needed or get some of the solvent under the badge to help , and dont try to peel/lever the badge off before completing the cutting - the edge if the badge will damage the paint Zaid-M www.DefencePhotos.com 2014 Defender 110 Utility, 2.2 Puma, Indus Silver Not just transport more like a religion |

Rubbing alcohol (carefully) maybe of use a
A toffee wheel maybe of use too. The latter isn’t much use in corners and gaps though. These are a couple of things that maybe useful in addition to the posters above ideas. I’ve used the dental floss before, works great. WeWillWin🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

You haven't said if you have an a/c grill or a non-a/c grill, but it is worth bearing in mind that the a/c grill support panel is plastic and the non-a/c panel is aluminium. There are likely to be things you can do to an aluminium panel that you couldn't safely do to the plastic version.

I'd be a bit more careful with heat or a toffee wheel with the plastic panel, but I don't have one so don't know how fragile/robust they are.

Hair dryer heat will be fine on any panel, it will be less hot than siting your car in the sun on a hot day.
I used one frequently to remove body wraps quite successfully, it may leave some glue residue but an alcohol wipe or sticky stuff remover will finish that off. And when I say hair dryer I don’t mean a heat gun which can get you into trouble  Ride like you stole it!!

^^^ Good point and an important distinction, a hairdryer certainly won't do any harm.
My brain was saying "heat gun" when everyone had written "hairdryer". |

I don’t own a hair dryer for reasons that would be obvious if you saw me, but someone I know does…
I have used it to remove decals from numerous vehicles without any problem. Any adhesive residue can be removed with a panel wipe or white spirit. I used this method to remove the Defender decal from my plastic air con grill surround with no issues.
I wouldn’t use a heat gun on my hair…but then again I haven’t got any… |
