Swivel bearing replacement
My 24 year old Defender needs it's swivel bearings replaced, I have done it once with a kit I bought online and the bearings has only lasted 90K before they need replacing again, is there a kit that uses Timken or equivalent bearings instead of cheap rubbish?.

I know Paddocks have them, with Timken bearings and Corteco seals. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

The late bearings have half the number of rollers that the earlier ones had. It is quite a sensible upgrade to try to get the earlier parts in order to end up with a stronger and longer lasting bearing.

JLR became a bit too keen on "value engineering" towards the end for my liking.
