My 22 SE has suffered from the common problem (or so it seems) of the door seals creaking & crackling. I've tried the recommended silicon lubricants etc but all these seem to last only a few weeks before the noise resumes.
Does anyone with a MY23 have the same issues? Just wondering if LR have resolved this issue with different seals in later production runs. My 21 plate 110 also suffers with this. I am arguing with LR about it.
To the best of my knowledge there is no know fix. Odd how some cars suffer and not others!? |

My 22MY P400e had this creaking last spring and I sprayed every door seal with Würth Rubber Care (which does not include silicone, as silicone is asking for trouble). No creaking since. Hmmm no creaky door seals on my MY2022 90 Commercial.
There was a creaking noise from the dashboard area but it turned out to be my knees. |

On early cars there was an issue with noises coming from the door seals - in particular from the top right and left corner at the door jam. Turned out that the radiused rubber “flap” was loose and tapping on the glass. On my 110 it was on all the doors except the tailgate. Cure was to drop the window and peel back the rubber where you would find the remains of a double sided sticky patch that had dried out and become detached- a dab of automotive sealant on the rubber and sticking it back to the metal of the door frame cured it and I haven’t had a noise from there in the last nearly 3 years. There was a video about this on YouTube posted by a member here.
