Morning all,
I have the upgraded HD flanges and want to remove them for a clean up, (and brake upgrade etc). Just wondering if anyone knows the main, centre nut size? I can’t just pop to an automotive supplier and ‘borrow’ two or three sockets to test in the car park, I have to buy on line. But I don’t want to trust buying after measuring with a tape measure. Someone out there I’m sure has the answer…. Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Same size as the hub nut so the same socket can be used! 52mm 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread

Thanks Rallysteve. Now just got to track me down on line. Useful, as I’ll be removing the front hubs as well to do a full refurb, regrease, do the discs, replace the rod ends, new dampers, new turrets etc. Monsieur Le Grenadier

52mm
https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/ac...url= https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sealey-SX011-Hub-...&psc=1 top one will do DM nut, but may struggle with depth on Hub Nuts. you need a deep 52mm socket, the box sockets give enough depth but 1/2, 3/4 ratchet is better What brake upgrade? Thanks JST, ordered!!
As for the brakes, no shiny, sexy BBK I’m afraid, but a nonetheless upgrade. Got the LOF Power Kit and also some new AP calipers upgraded with SS pistons etc, also from LOF, (which I might paint), and then some Goodrich braided lines, to go with recently upgraded braided fixed lines.
