So is this £225 + £36 and that includes being able to remap a Defender. Or is it + the cost of a remap ontop?

The Remap goes on top of that - depending on your vehicle and the map you decide to go for, Pete (at BAS) will tell you the appropriate 'Tuning Related Add-on'.
Worth dropping him a line to discuss, he's a decent chap and they offer a great service. |

What additional software do you need for the code reading and resetting function? Would it be an alternative to a ODB2 reader?

I can't confirm whether it gives you the full functionality of an OBDII reader, but I have taken this directly from the BAS site:
'The tool is an Engine ONLY tool, and only supports engine related functions like Fault codes read and clear, Live Data, ECU needed service resets, ECU Programming are just some of whats in its arsenal.' The app is available for download on Apple or Android devices. |
