Hmm, I'm afraid that to me it is over-restored (much to shiny), an unauthentic colour scheme (limestone top to a truck cab), and there are too many non-original parts (including the chassis). It has the wrong wheels, the wrong carburettor, and absolutely no patina or character. I think the price might be reasonable for a good original IIA with some character, but to me that is sterile and unappealing, more like a replica than an original.
Having said that, it will float someone's boat and I hope that the owner achieves a satisfactory sale. It would cost more if JLR Classic Reborn had built it.
As an aside, I have no idea who wrote the blurb for the auction but, my goodness, what unmitigated drivel! ![Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter](images/smiles/icon_rolling.gif)

I have to agree, that write up made me cringe so bad I just gave up after about ten seconds. Absolutely awful. 2011 110 USW
