General Grabber AT2 265/75R16 Deep Dish Alloys
Hi folks, I recently had all 5 of my Deep Dish alloys refurbished by Wheelshine in Yeovil. A very nice job indeed, the wheels were acid dipped, media blasted and top coat applied. Cost for this was £400 all in which I was pleased with. They even gave me a small amount of paint to spray the wheel caps that were a bit tatty as they don't do that themselves

New tyres at the same time, the 12 year old General Grabber AT2 had worn incredibly well (65,000 miles) with at least 6mm left on all 4 tyres but the side walls were cracking so I retired them while it suited me financially to do so. The spare has never been on the road and looks almost like new so that has had a stay of execution.

Interestingly enough I no longer think my suspension bushes are knackered...new tyres have calmed the ride considerably!

The GGAT2's were a good tyre - I had them on several different Land Rovers in different sizes. The new AT3, which I have on my 110, is even better and is particularly good in the wet and in snow/ice. Darren
