Surfboard? Got my 6ft quad in okay but anything bigger would have been tight.

Add two kids, a wife and a dog and a 90 is definitely not quite a family wagon!

Still cool though. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.

I've been squished by the rear door/Safari Equip wheel carrier/Wolf wheel and Hi-Lift just once too many times Banging Head

So I ordered a Nakatananga rear door stay from Brendan, who supplied it very quickly indeed (less than 24 hours) Thumbs Up It only took half an hour to install and that included fidgeting about trying to find the right drill bit size.
Blimey it's made a huge difference. Well recommended Bow down Dave

Took my kids to the inlaws down in Somerset for a few days and, whilst in the area, dropped in on Defender Bits. Bought some Koni front shocks from them as they were the best price that I could find. They've only been in bsuiness since April and owner was a very helpful chap. It's nice to find a dedicated Defender parts supplier Thumbs Up Darren

Bit the bullet and ordered up a heated windscreen - should help reduce the "charming" misted screen whenever there is a wee bit of rain

Also hoping it helps with forthcoming winter - was split between fitting an Eberspacher or heated screen.

Went the "slightly" cheaper route and also got a fibreglass snow cover to cut down on the water into the heater box. 2001 TD5 110 DCPU in Bonatti Grey

You must have driven right past my house on the way to Defender Bits - we live on the road into the village Thumbs Up DB are on the opposite side of the village to us and I only found out about them being there a few weeks ago !

Fibreglass one seems sturdy enough - well made - not as bling as the Entreq one, but at £35 delivered, a fraction of the price

Guy had the video on his site of lowering his land rover on top of one to show its strength - it does seem to be pretty tough. I just wanted a quick way of reducing water etc getting in to heater box. 2001 TD5 110 DCPU in Bonatti Grey

Took mine in to Lancasters for some warranty work. Came home in a Freelander 2 again that switches off at traffic lights.

It's in for the handbrake rattle which although now intermittent is still happening, sticking rear passenger door lock and a knackered seat bolster.

Good service from Lancasters - booked it in for two days to test thoroughly and the service desk just phoned to update me on progress. Parts ordered for first thing tomorrow so it can be ready in the afternoon.

Good work Thumbs Up John
