I left the white intact. Does it still work having cut both?!!

That's the problem it doesn't and i didn't check the camera before i cut it so i dont know if it was a dudd.i will have to google to see what those two wires actually do and whether they stop the signal if cut or just change its orientation.

There isn’t a lot of slack on them either. Can you at least pare back the white one and solder it back together?

im going to try that tonight if i get time ..i did a quick burn of plastic and twist together earlier but that didn't work!
edit it didnt work ..so i think the camera is a dud! further edit.... after help from mr google......the green wire is for the image orientation and the white wire is for the tramlines....camera should work even if both are cut. |
