My new toy. 1985 90 CSW.
I’ve been searching for one of these old ladies for some time, something original without checker plate or holes screwed in the dashboard or mis-matched seats or a replacement lump under the bonnet etc. Ok it’s has some tinkering with the suspension height but that can be undone, although it’s a lovely soft ride and I’m tempted to leave as is.

Wifey (who’s thoroughly unimpressed with my purchase) asked me what I’m going to do with her? Well, there’s a little voice in the back of my head that says throw the book at it, go to town, tear her apart and make a showroom quality restoration, but I think that’s missing the point. A car can only be original and unrestored once. She’s just as nature intended, and for now that’s the way she’ll remain.

I got the tax and insurance sorted today so went out for a short ride. Ok the exhaust is blowing and the idle needs speeding up a bit, but it’s a lovely ride and it made me smile.

That's great! Reminds me of this abandoned 110 I found in Riyadh. Do you mind me asking what the value of something like that is?

If you can import it back here, a decent amount if its original and rot free.
