It’s a long shot but has anyone one they’d like to part with.

All I can say is- Really DO NOT buy one made by Smiths Gauges. (It’s has td5 logo and looks almost identical to the genuine unit) sold by rimmer bros for £160.

I purchased one and it was completely dead. Other then illuminating with the light switch it didn’t move with the engine revs. All wiring checked and tested. Returned to rimmer bros expecting a refund.. But no. They had to return it to the manufacturer (smith gauges/ Caerbont) and rimmer bros would only refund if there was a fault with it. (Despite me telling them it didn’t work and speaking with Caerbont over the phone to try and resolve the problems).
They “tested” the gauge on their bench tester and apparently it worked fine, so they put the blame to the supplied wiring loom that is included with their gauge. (The loom was actually fine, it was the gauge that was faulty but they wouldn’t admit it.)

I had to wait nearly three months before I got any money back from rimmer bros.
Lesson learnt, only buy the genuine gauge if you can find one!!!

Luckily I put a post up on here and a chap contacted me with a near new/ second hand unit for £300 I believe? Wired it up worked perfectly 👍🏻

You know what? I was looking at those yesterday! I was weighing up whether or not I should be impatient and order one but I'm sure glad that I didn't!

I've searched high and low for a genuine one but they seem to be few and far between!
