Could do with a bit more information on the engine. It should be a 10P engine in a 99MY but do you know whether it still is a 10P engine or has had a replacement later 15P engine installed. Is the ECU an MSC (early) or NNN (later) ECU? Is the fuel feed internal (10P) or external (15P black hose under intake manifold)? It is possible to have a 10P block and a 15P head Frankenstein engine if it has been "upgraded" when a head died.
Blue/Black Injectors = Earlier 10P and MSC ECU 1500psi Short travel piston Green Injectors = Later 15P and NNN ECU 1700psi Long travel piston Whether a 10P or a 15P engine it should really be fitted with 5 injectors of the same colour. |

What a wealth of information, many thanks for the in-depth reply. I’ve asked my friend for as much information he has & will post it up when I know more.
