Hi and welcome to the forum !
I have a 2012 110 and get about 400 miles out of the tank running round Cornwall and the SW ... and a little more on long motorway runs to Aberdeen each month. I try to keep to a max of 2000-2500 RPM and not go over 65mph .. however I have a roof rack and a fully fitted camper set up so not the lightest of vehicles to be pottering about in. There are some on here who get an amazing amount of miles out of their tanks ... but that is not my style of driving ! hope that helps Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 |

With my '07 2.4 I consistently get 400 from full to light-on except when towing. 3.5 tons on the back reduces it to around 300.
The depressing aspect is that in 2007 those 400 miles cost about £62 in fuel, now it's around £145. |

So...my first long run was towing a big car trailer and I was on about 300 miles to the tank of fuel.
I too have a roof rack plus chunky(ish) tyres so I guess this is about right. |

my favourite topic - on my birthday too
so best I got was (from memory) 615 miles on a tank tis a 2.4 with egr removed and re-map. general thoughts are anything less the 500 miles and anything more ps. did I mention I've got 760 miles out of my transit van. last month on the app showed an average of 51.2mpg. Click image to enlarge sorry. |

On a steady motorway run I will get roughly 500 + to a tank. Steady 65mph. 2008 2.4 110 Utility Station Wagon XS.

So with a Puma 110 75l tank 400 miles per tank = 24mpg and 500 miles per tank = 30mpg at approx £8.70 per gallon based on £1.94 per litre.

My 2012 2.2 110 6 gears gets 300 miles to a full tank.
My 2006 TD5 110 5 gears got 420 miles Go figure |

It was suggested to me that an EGR delete and DPF removal will help economy as well as reducing the risk of failures in the future.

No, the Puma 110 tank is nominally 75l, plus whatever you might get in the neck. Have a look here for an example:

I seem to remember that the TD5 110 tank was nominally 90l Darren
