I was going to ask the same question; mine stopped showing traffic conditions a few days ago. Has there been a software update with a bug in it, or have JLR stopped providing it somehow?

Thanks... reassuring it's not just our cars, but rubbish this is showing up!
I like the LR mapping, but there's a few bugs that have come in this last week I've noticed Shame they don't do a system issues page Mike |

My wife got a six month old Velar in the last couple of weeks me the same thing has has happened, so not just a Defender thing.
In fact the LR navigation map wasn’t available last night either directly or as an option via CarPlay. Haven’t yet checked it today. |

Noticed this in mid-July. I wasn't using it for routing, just the map display for traffic info, so I was somewhat
 when I joined a jam on the M3. Must be JLR's data source as it was working fine on Google Maps on the iPhone.

! I was out this morning and traffic was working on mine as it should, I wonder what's screwed mine up so that it works when nobody else's does  Cheers Ian

My 90 stopped showing it but I also noticed my live services had lapsed, with no notification to renew. Don’t know if they’re connected.
I’ve yet to try the new 110’s sat nav, though slightly off topic the digital dash has been updated on the 23MY. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |

What have they updated on the digital dash
It's interesting the software differences between the d5 and defender, I'm wait to see what the 23my disco gives The defender had some connection and is doing re routing It would be good if jlr did a page on this so we knew Mike |

It’s mainly cosmetic, slightly darker around the edges, mileage has moved from the top to the bottom. Instead of just saying map or media etc it shows an image when select an option for the info panel.
There is a big update coming for CarPlay with iOS 16 in which it utilises the car’s digital dash, not sure if the Defender is set up for it or not.  Click image to enlarge 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |

Thanks, I'm trying to picture whether it's the disco that looks like that or the defender, having just say in the disco for 3 hours today you think I would remember 😂

Rang JLR Customer Experience this morning about the map issue (no traffic update). Been told there was a problem with the navigation map and an update has been set for download from today to fix problem. Going to go to car now and see if any updates. Why do I not believe them…….. Also asked about second key and any dates yet for issue, basically reply was err, umm, err, no idea. Well that is clear then!

Ref my post above, my car does say new map available. Seems to be no way to do forced download? Do we just wait for auto download?

Having read the latest on this post I just popped outside to check the wife’s Velar and the traffic condition (red) is back.
I never saw a required update.  |
