My early V8 County
So I was still gutted to have sold my green V8 County, had the Wolf but was longing for another and my son still goes on about selling it!

Ideally I wanted a Massi Red 1984 V8 County (I do have a very very rough rotten one tucked away but I wanted something useable, not a project).

Amazingly one came up, I had a good look but just couldn’t get there on a deal.

Then this appeared - not my first choice but a very close second!

Lovely early County with all welding done, some perfectly aged body work and naturally a V8! Deal agreed, home it came!

The interior is pretty much perfect, centre seat was missing but I had one in my stores so a quick clean up later…

Wheels and tyres to be decided on, engine isn’t the best so will be going and I really really want a Brownchurch roof rack for it…

I like that a lot!

Personally I like the brown, it must have been a 1970/80's thing, many BL models were made in that colour 2010 XS USW

Sadly Friday night wasn’t a good one…

Young driver didn’t stop at a junction, straight into me

Good news is the chassis is ok, a bit of fiddling and she’s running and driving. Using a JCB to lift the engine has that and the gearbox roughly back in place

New bumper fits!! Going to body shop on Monday for a new wing…

Stunning OneTen, Jeremy. I’ve seen your posts on the Stage 2 Register Thumbs Up

What a shame about the collision damage, but I’m sure it’s all repairable and possibly an opportunity to upgrade a few items? Charlie

I’ve got a few minor tweaks planned for it, really desperate to get it back in use asap. But I’m really struggling on deciding what to with the wheels and tyres, I change my mind

I put my One Ten pick-up on a set of white Wolfs with Toyo 255/85R16 tyres, which look great. I think some Limestone Wolfs would look cracking under your County. Charlie

Thanks, Jeremy!

They’re brilliant, so far at least. Not expensive, very quiet, and they hold the road well. Time will tell, but so far I’m impressed with them. Charlie

Love the car - saw the bump on Stage 2 Register and really felt for you.

Your One Ten is an absolute beauty in all its Land Rover 70's hangover styling glory! Although Wolfs are popular and look good - I think that fitting them would upset the look of the car and in part, remove a chunk of its uniqueness by making it look more modern and like so many other 110s.

Maybe something like steel ET0's in Limestone would keep the look, fill the arches and help the turning circle? JB
