Have you re plugged it in? Still MAF related? Could it be wiring to the MAF rather the MAF itself? 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

Check intercooler to see if crimped seams at the side have split, generally lower left hand seam as you look at it from the front. Also check hose from turbo to IC, IC to metal tube, metal tube to inlet manifold for splits .

Any ideas gratefully received.
The 2.2 90 still cuts out. Only slowing down and now only with a heavy trailer. |

Assuming you have checked IC, hoses and clamps and they are ok, have you had any EGR related DTC’s I.e P0401 ?
Also worth removing the MAP and the Air Charge Sensor, give them a clean and check the connectors and wiring. Ps is the new MAF a gen LR part ? Some aftermarket ones have had issues, I would also double check the MAF connector wiring, if there is an intermittent issue it may have been resolved for a short while by removing and reconnecting the connector when fitting the new MAF but now showing again. |

I can’t see anything. Going to get it checked out.
Yes it is a non gen maf sensor. Why is the engine cutting out rather than going into limp home mode? |
