Load space mat
I’m looking at buying a load space Mat as mine is only the small one that doesn’t cover the arches

I was just wondering if the mat comes with the holes so the mat can slide over the tie down points?

Mine didn’t come with the holes for the tie down points

I removed the tie down points, installed the rubber mat and then drilled through from the outside and reinstalled the tie down points.

Be wary I purchased one of those new for a 90, fitted it and parked it up for 18 months without using the vehicle. In 18 months it had completely fallen apart with no use, it had perished and split along all the creases. I saw the same in a 2014 last week.

This has been in the back of my 110 2.4 Puma since 2011 and is still in great shape with no rips, tears or signs of deterioration. There are no lashing ring cut outs but there are cut outs for the folding seats.

Don't know what number it is but it came with the Land Rover as I ordered it with mats. I will look to see if there is a number somewhere on it. Just checked the link above and yes you are right, it is a different animal altogether. It just covers the floor and not the seat boxes. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

This was STC4629 purchased new in 2020 after nine months and zero use. It was the second one that I have purchased new which fell apart.

Our 2008 Puma has a long ribbed mat bought from Paddocks in 2008 and it is still in great shape. It just covers the floor. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Has anyone got a part number for these ?

My 2016 defender has just the inner Mat which doesn’t cover the arches

I contacted JLR parts who said any model after 2007 only comes with an inner mat which I know is not true. Any help would be great

There is two part numbers, one is for a SW with cut outs and a HT version like I have which has no cut outs.
I have the latter and found it was harder to source and find.

This is the mat that doesn’t go over the arches.

I agree that the matting that goes over the arches and seat boxes, gearbox tunnel and footwells isn’t good, it tears and rips purely by removal or by its self! One of the reasons is for some reason it’s thin in places usually in the places where you’d expect strength in the corners as an example..

To add to that the price is astronomical, the annoying part is I like the rubber as it’s easier to clean and avoids moisture and loads of cleaning. Let down by inferior quality. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️

Which type of mat do you want the part number for? You've already identified the one that goes over the arches above (STC4629) but this mat only works with models that have square wheel arches. If yours is a van then that'll fit. Post '07 station wagons have a different rear tub with recesses for seats and this mat won't fit them. Those models come with the centre mat that it sounds like you've already got. Darren
