[Wanted] Defender 90

Hi all

Come over from disco3 forum having sold the v8 and looking for the next toy.

Looking for a defender 90, 300tdi or TD5 if lower end of price range

Ideally with some history and a pretty solid chassis, even better if galvanised.

What have you got

what do you call the lower end of the price range?

a little info on spec and miles would help folk as well

Price wise looking at 10-11,000

Spec wise I’m open to all options. I’m not too worried around mileage, a well maintained higher mileage is more appealing then a low mileage no history.

Good bulkhead and chassis are a requirement, galv preferred

Not a massive fan of pickup as I’m too tall

I have a 90 300tdi CSW 1995 300tdi

needs a couple bits doing such as investigating why the speedometer isn't reading, likely a broken cable. the chassis has had two patches on the rear chassis, rear crossmember needs a repair in future.

and a couple doors needs the door check straps putting back on

aside from those bits it runs and drives a dream

had brand new rear door painted and fitted, new track Rod and ball joint plus new rad and timing belt last year

Was asking £12995 with those bits done but will sell as is for £11,000 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold)

Narrowed down to
300tdi
Ideally galv chassis or a very solid chassis
Good bulkhead
90 or maybe a 110 if it looks the part
