Diesel fuel line question
I have a 300tdi that seems to have a moderate leak around the rear mounted tank, and on some of the lines. This vehicle does not have a seimentor. I have to drop the tank to do some other work, so my plan was to just replace all the fuel lines at that point. I understand the lines going to the engine need to be 3/8 ID, and the return lines need to be 5/16 ID.

I'm debating between going with the nylon type lines that are direct replacement, or going with 'rubber' type lines and adding in solid hose clamps over the barn fittings.

I've scoured the forums and I'm finding conflicting information. Does anyone have any best practices advice on this issue?
