That’s positive if it includes the first registration as that is going to be circa £2,365 based on the CO2 emissions.

I’m in a similar position. Latest news on inflation rates and suggestions of a recession mean I’ll mull it over for a while.

For something that is now on the order of two Ford Rangers in price I am struggling to maintain interest. I was interested in a high capability utility 4x4. Specs have drifted upward and I think they have lost sight of key items like load capacity and fuel efficiency. I await further news on Hydrogen power but I am thinking I did not make a bad choice in delaying submitting a deposit. £66K is a big chunk of change for something that carries less and uses more fuel (26mpg over 50K miles) than my TDi. If comfier seats were my key driver there are lots of vehicles I could have bought for that sort of money. 1995 Defender 110 CSW

I was going for the Trialmaster variant with a few options, but the 2 door utility is at £49K plus OTR.
For me it's just an extra £3K I wasn't expecting that's pushing me over the edge a little. 110 DCPU Mark |

Problem I see is it’s too expensive to be a work truck and too work truck like to appeal to those that would pay that for a family vehicle. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Also sales won’t be helped in Scotland where there is only a single sales and servicing outlet in Edinburgh at the moment - not much use if you live in the Hebrides or far north or far south-west. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

I'd imagine that company will grow them in Scotland give they are a pretty big dealer network already (ironically they have JLR dealerships too).

I'm not placing an order now, but considering replacing an estate car and a Defender with this spec once they've ironed out the inevitable early-life issues - maybe in 2023/4:
Total = £56215 + initial VED. Pic has a black roof, but I'm not willing to pay £915 for it! It also has the gull wing rear panels which have disappeared from the price list Click image to enlarge |

I have placed a deposit but only because it is fully refundable.
The decision if I will go forward will depend on a number of things, including actually driving one before I sign, the quality of any PX and finance, and how they deal with the customers who have placed deposits. We will see how it turns out, but I will be more than happy to get the deposit refunded if I am not happy. |

I’ve asked for a refund. The combo of increases in price and poor ved/mpg killed it. Bought a second hand 4.4 v8 diesel RRS Autobiog Dynamic……. Which still does more to the gallon than the grenadier! Will look again in a year or two. I think those buy one now however won’t get too much depreciation especially if it gets picked up by the bling merchants.

To be fair to Ineos, they are 44 mins from me, within their 45 minutes from a dealer concept. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |

Maybe but 55 minutes from me and most of the west side are further away.
