2004 Defender 90 2.5 TD X-Tech LE Zambezi Silver

[For Sale] Genuine X Tech 2004 Twisted and Other Upgrades

A real one off and true labour of love that started 15 years ago. This rare TD5 X Tech from 2005 has been a family friend for years. Our passion for the vehicle saw us refresh and revive this beauty into what she is today and we spared no expense.

"Lizzy" as we call her is the original updated, painstakingly re-engineered in 2017 masterminded by Landrover specialists TT Mechanica using only the best parts, associated companies support and wherever possible genuine Landrover parts.

The vehicle was stripped back to its bones. The chassis treated with Dinitrol, parts and panels, refined, realigned and refitted. All internal panels lined with silent coat then new genuine LR internal fittings installed including headlining, Adventure seats, rear folding seats, side trim panels, carpets and more. Full genuine LR anodised aluminium hinges, door handles and more. Numerous Mudstuff extras including LED internal lights. Full stainless fixing set to all areas. Genuine LR mats and high spec made to measure seat covers been in place and never taken off since new seats installed. Genuine LR rear mat. Stainless powder coated rails to all door carpets.Sound system full upgrade including Mudstuff sub plus case and professional speaker install using genuine LR alpine headset with Bluetooth phone module.8 layers of security upgrades including fixings, electrical cut off, alarm, ignition column lock and more.PP roll cage inside and out the full works, these guys are the best around.New Ashcroft clutch and transmission and 1:211 ration plus other upgrades. BAS and Twisted upgrades including fast road Bilstein suspension, 16" wheels, hybrid turbo, DPF blank, intercooler, air box, full pipe kit, remap and more. Full stainless Twisted exhaust system headers to back box. Brakes upgraded and stainless brake lines in red to match. Full Zunsport exterior grills with Lazer lamp kit including DLRs, they are amazing. Patriot powder coated rear ladder and roof bar set to match. Performance Protection engineered to fit the roll bar and never used. Exterior light upgrade all areas to LED, headlights new loom and crystal fittings. 90,000 done 20,000 since we did the big refurb of her.

Full service history all documented and original books.

even saw the sales man who sold us the car 15 years ago last week and remembered it as 04/5 Xtech not one seen often.

Apologies for the thread hijack, but I didn’t realise you could get genuine LR anodised aluminium hinges. I need to do mine, can you recall where you sourced them?

Works part and i got them via a company no longer about. Autobiographies had lots of the anodized aluminum parts fitted.

Believe the Croytec guys supply or use to supply them with many of these parts as they wrote the book on the hinges, handles etc production. try them very friendly got our TD5 rev counter off them
