Spare wheel security?
My spare is held onto the rear door with 3 bolts, 2 are lockers. However, some scroat with a set of locking wheel nut removers could have it away?

It was a reasonably common issue on Discovery’s where there were so many thefts our very own Uncle Ray invented a effective guard to prevent it.

Do we think the new Defender is at risk here? We’re wheel thefts from the old Defender common? 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV

Explorer Pack comes with a cover - no idea whether its lockable or how secure it is. Uncle Ray will be welcome to inspect it if it needs his 'skills' to create something to secure it Thumbs Up Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Twice as secure as the wheels that are on the ground - as there is 2 Locking Nuts.

If your really worried - buy an additional locking wheel nut set - with a different key... then you can mix and match.

You can fit the Wheel Cover - look on Brit Car - Their Copy is about £120... but it can be easily removed - just pulls off.. with a knife to slit the cord and fabric.

Had my spare stolen ten years ago and chained the replacement to the carrier with a motorbike chain and lock from Almax…not an elegant solution but it’s still there…
