Hi everyone.
I am a now proud owner of a 110 Hardtop 300 TDI. After years and years of pondering whether I should do it or not, I bit the bullet and bought a 98 MY. I expected a few quirks, given that the car was relatively neglected (to put it mildly), but one problem really puzzled me until quite recently: The high beams if flashed, "prevent" the internal light and the horn from working. Pushing the stalk back, turning on the high beams poses no problem, oddly enough. After quite some dismantling, replacing stalks and relays, I seem to have found the culprit, C0285 (K109). It's simultaneously cracked and melted and it's due a replacement. And this is what brings me here: would you happen to know where I could source one of them? I have scavenged the internet, and looked at the usual websites, but no luck. No sign of it on eBay either. Does it have a secret name? A secret code? I've searched using the part number too, to no avail. |

I'm fairly sure I've bought one in the past from PaulMC (on here) who has an ebay shop as Land Rover Connectors.

@Inigo
Thanks for letting me know. I went online and searched his eBay store, and no luck. I'll drop him a direct message to enquire whether he has it in some secret stash. @MadTom I must confess I was quite tempted to hack the remainder of connector and short the correct wires, but given how the previous owners disfigured the loom... I looked at it again and decided to retain some of the known and loved Rover Group electrical integrity |

I have a main wiring loom I have been using as a donor for a number of parts.
It has a couple of the blue headers in it you are welcome to have for the cost of postage. You can either source the connector pins from Paul Mc or I can include the ones from the loom with a few inches of tail on them. The loom is from a 2003 TD5 so colours will be different but I believe the header is the same. Can supply some photos if it would help. |

Sure, if they're spare, I'd be delighted if you could send me one.
I'll PM you my address, and send you some beer money + postage fees. Thanks again! |
