2009 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 SVX Soft Top Santorini Black

Defender 90 60th anniversary soft top

I´ve owned this car since 2011 and every time I have to remove and reinstall the soft top I´m puzzled and somewhat confused by the fastener over the front doors. There´s no metal drain channels over the doors and the canvas is fastened by som velcro thingies. It looks like an amateur has designed this

Anyone here with a similar car who can enlighten me how its supposed to fit properly? 2009 Land Rover Defender 90 SVX Soft top 60th Anniversary Edition

Should add, I’ve pressure tested it and it holds steady with no drops

Agree, the hood is waterproof but it´s sometimes annoying when the hood over the doors start flapping and I have to stop and tighten the velcro 2009 Land Rover Defender 90 SVX Soft top 60th Anniversary Edition
