Is it the motor itself that’s failing?
I’ve had to replace one in driver’s door on mine, from I think a Saxo, bought from eBay. Cheaper than a LR part, but was exactly the same. If my memory is right, the sides are swapped. |

It's odd the motors fail - I am regularly repairing the wires that break in the rubber boot thingummy twixt door and body but the motors are fine after 20 years.
