The clonk I would imagine is the drive flanges on the rear, mine made and awful clonk until I swapped them out for the once piece design.

Small amount of radial play is normal as it is a ball bearing and not taper rollers.

The output shaft only has a small amount of play, guess I’ll keep an eye on it. Found that the rear prop was loose at the same time so tightened the 4 nuts. Phew!! I’ll take a look at the flanges, thanks heaps!! Winter's here, thanks goodness! |
