EGR cooler pipe work... Is this normal?
Hello,

Just been doing EGR delete, and whilst at it knocked the coolant pipe to the egr cooler resulting in coolant spilling out a bit.

This coolant pipe has a join just above the intercooler>EGR hose. This isn't exactly tight and it's this that split. looking at it it seems a stupid design which makes me wonder if the join is a botch-fix by previous owner.

So do you have a join on this coolant pipe? (The black one in in this pic)

Nope, should be a solid pipe all the way to the cooler. They go very brittle though, i broke mine putting the engine cover back on a few years ago.
