One would have thought that a handgun mount should be a standard factory option.... Ride like you stole it!! If I’m not on a bike it’s because only a 4x4 will do… 2011 2.4 Puma 90 HT |

I’ve used one of these.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00T0I...&psc=1 It’s magnetic and requires a metal disk stuck into the back of your phone. I have mounted as shown on these photos using the supplied adhesive pad. Not sure what it would be like holding a heavy phone when driving in a serious off road environment. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

I have both the mounts that Brodit supply https://www.brodit.co.uk/brodit/vehicles/L...?steer=rhd
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge I have one either side of the pivi pro screen but don't use them as phone holders so only have the basic bracket. If you aren't familiar with the Brodit mounts you buy the mount and then a specific phone holder for your model of phone This is how I use one of mine as I always have my phone either in my pocket or on the wireless charger Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Cheers Ian -------------------- 22MY Defender 110 D200 SE, Fuji White. I have an Auckly universal wireless charging mount which works superbly (available on Amazon UK). The side grips close automatically when you place a phone on the cradle and open with the press of a discreet button on the side of the mount.
It comes with a suction cup mount which works on the metal facia, Ive been on some rough terrain with the phone in the holder and it has stayed securely in place. So no need for an additional customised defender mount. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Current: MY22 P400e SE Prior: Discovery Sport HSE, Jaguar F-Type S, Discovery 3, RR Vogue |

I'd recommend Defender3D (https://defender3d.co.uk. Tim does a range of excellent mounts for phones, tablets and more. I've got the iPad mount but the basic attachment to the dash is the same and you can chose whereabouts you locate the mount.
(Mine's an older version but the pic gives you the idea). Current vehicle: 2020 Defender 110S Gone: Defender 90 HT 200Tdi, Discovery Sport, Freelander 2 Insta: wizzardprang |

I also have the BRODIT holder. Works fine with phone specific clamps. The one I have works great with iPhone plus protection case. The clamp holds the phone really strong. I connect my iPhone via cable so it gets charged when driving plus I can check the iPhone screen for popup messages
You see the mount next to the big Pivi screen. It is setup for my iPhone 12 Pro, but works also with my iPhone SE and even my iPhone 13 mini. The holder is New Defender version. A bit of a missed design feature the lack of anywhere logical to stash your mobile on the dash, also if you have the centre seat the plastic try they put on isnt even big enough to pop a phone into /facepalm, with an ounce of thought that spot could have had an NFC charger 3 Landrovers

Looks like Brodit has re-designed their backing plate that fits into the dash since I bought mine which is dead fiddly and needs a special tool to lever it in between the PiviPro screen and the grab handle along the top of the dash.
I have Tim’s original IPad Pro 11” holder and he has since redesigned it to hold the iPad more securely when off-road. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come 2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed! |

Using this one:
