I changed the oil and oil filter after 1000 km, just as a precaution
I don't believe in 2 years or 34kkm service interval.... almost 2000 km on the odometer now this car is so nice to drive todays trip: Click image to enlarge 2021 Defender 90 D250 1998 TUL 1997 TUM FFR 2003 Defender 110SW Td5 1985 ExMOD 110 ST 3.9 V8 1971 Series IIa Lightweight |

Looks fantastic.
I don’t understand why anyone wouldn’t just spec up a base. D250 is enough power. 18” wheels, and all the important stuff for off-road, towing, etc can be optioned. I did exactly that, ending up with a car that was perfect. No leather, no 19-22” wheels, no sunroof (thankgod) or HUD (worst thing ever in a car). But full terrain response, air suspension, electronic active differential, interactive display, centre console with fridge, meridian sound system, heated seat and steering wheel, heated windscreen and solar attenuating windscreen, LED lights, signature lighting and wireless phone charging, 11.4” screen, roof rails and a bunch of other goodies. All for about the cost of an SE clean. But my priorities are probably different to others. |

A little work with my 90.
I finally replaced factory Michelins with Cooper AT3 4S, all seasons, M+S, 3PMSF Click image to enlarge then changed the front underbody shield to aluminium one; it's great and plus is the exposed tow eye Click image to enlarge then took it for a ride Click image to enlarge 2021 Defender 90 D250 1998 TUL 1997 TUM FFR 2003 Defender 110SW Td5 1985 ExMOD 110 ST 3.9 V8 1971 Series IIa Lightweight |
