I had once tried to knock the front door hinge pins out...was not successful. Since they had considerable wear, and at the time a student, tight finance, but rich in free time, I drilled the old pins out and made oversized pins as the hole in the hinge had ovaled from wear. Still good to this day Thumbs Up

Found this online Laughing so others also have probably drilled their pins out, but were a bit more creative. Just make sure you have a good insurance Whistle

Regarding the rear door hinges, pity that later hinges are not servicable. For my restoration project I bought a service kit. I think it was BR1365. I would be tempted to modify the rear puma door hinges when the time comes.. or find a set of old rear door hinges as an upgrade 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

My 90 is now 9 years old and all the hinge pins are starting to rust, is there no option at all to service them, as in knock the old pin out and replace (not sure about the rear though? If not, does anyone know of a replacement service that will colour match them (Loire blue) or is billet the way forward?

One word (made from two) -Optimill…had 3 sets over the last 19 years and first sets still looks as good as the last which are also 6 years old, they just work !
