I’ve never had that problem myself but have read many threads on here that suggests it’s reasonably common. Some good guidance on here on how to get at the pesky switch

Check the pins in the connector to the back of the lamp, they can rust to nothing.

The fuse is clearly marked on the pull down flap. Mine is a 2.4 so I do not know whether your fuse is in the same place as mine but the hand book has a page with the fuses and their locations. Iwould physically remove the fuse and replace it to see if that was at fault.
