Nail and head….hadn’t bothered with the locknut (which I’ve just found under the cake of greasy cack!!!!

Yes I’ve lost count of the amount of parts that have remained undiscovered due to being camouflaged by grease etc. Rolling with laughter

At least you’ve found it and can now tinker with it.
