AHBA
Picked this up on Friday - P400e Dynamic X HSE in Godwana Stone with Extended Black Pack and various other packs/extras but, it seems no AHBA. I looked and looked and looked again on the configurator but couldn’t see it as an option

so assumed it came with the Matrix LEDs but it seems not.
Can you retrofit it? I’ve come from a Discovery that had it and I found it really helpful, especially living in a rural area.
I do love the P400e otherwise - much prefer the driving position to the Disco and even like the adaptive cruise control now I’ve figured it out!

I've got the same on order and due to it now being my23 I had to pay extra for Matrix lights, they were standard for my22.

How to activate AHBA - with the matrix lights in auto and AHBA it is weird to be driving on high beams all the time but you can see the beam pattern changing as various element in the lamp get switched on/ off. The system does switch off when you pass under street lights and most;y results full beam service when you leave streetlighted areas but it doesn’t always come back every time!

Thanks all. I read the online manual and found the info Tim linked but when I go into settings I have this.
Maybe I just need to activate the Adaptive Driving Beam and I can then leave the lights on full beam?

With it switched on you don't need to put the light switch onto main beam, it does it automatically for you when you reach the required speed and there are no street lights. It is fantastic for driving on country roads Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

Thanks Ian.

I shall feed back to my dealer that this should have been discussed in the handover!

Sounds like you had the same skim over type of handover we had!! My wife’s car didn’t make it as far as the handover bay, it was dumped in a parking space at the front door and we were left to our own devices while the salesperson and sales manager tried to sort out the registration they the sales admin had screwed up. 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon

I felt it was a pretty good handover but I guess until you start using the car you don't know what's been missed. I've got another question about setting the charging period which I will post in a new thread. Suspect I may be a regular here for a while!

I’m sure most of us on here could teach the dealers a thing or two when it comes to operating a defender. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews

This suggests matrix lights to me, is that correct? (switching small segments on and off)

But in your original post you didn't believe you had them.
