Accelerator Pedal response
Hi all, we went out in a p400 110 last weekend. The only bit the missus didn’t like was the response from the pedal, we have a X3 M40i at the moment and as soon as you touch the pedal your off, I realise the 110 is a different type of car but does anyone else experience this slightly slower response? We are going to try another manufacturer just out of interest but does anyone have any thoughts on this?

You’ll need to get use to it. I came from a 2GT, not near as hot as your M40i and the throttle and transmission (both use the same ZF8 I believe) response, is just not tuned to be like the ‘ultimate driving machine’ 22MY Defender 110 D300 S in Pangea Green and Contrast White Roof

That delay is what it does. My Disco Sport & Freelander2 were the same. I've found putting the 'box in sport mode helps. Current vehicle: 2020 Defender 110S
Gone: Defender 90 HT 200Tdi, Discovery Sport, Freelander 2
