Door alignment
Hey all, see image below. Passenger door, gap at top and really misaligned. Drivers door perfect 💁🏼

And your question (if there is one)?

You need to adjust the door, or possibly replace the hinges.

The picture below shows the ex-factory fit of the offside second row door of my DC. Rolling with laughter

Malta 2012 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 CSW Santorini Black
Loosen hinge screws, lift door up to desired position, hold it there and tighten screws.
If it drops right away, either there is too much play in the hinges, or the screws are not tight enough. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

Plenty of companies out their that will happily charge you plus £100k to put it right........plus other work.

One of mine is slightly off, it closes perfectly fine and doesn't leak so i'm happy to leave it be.

There is quite some rubbing between the top corner of the door and the HT side panel... to the extent that it has worn the raptor finish. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing
