Independent recommendations? Bristol/South Gloucester

Hi all,

I'm sure this has been asked and answered before, however searching the forums I've only come up with one recommendation so far (orange4x4 in Keynsham). I noticed over the weekend that some

had covered up some rust on the bulkhead with black sound deadener and it doesn't look too pretty. Knowing this can be a real

I'm hoping to get the 110 in to a decent independent for an inspection to see if it's something that can be welded.
Ideally looking to go to at least two places to get an inspection and a recommendation of works with a quote, not shy about throwing money at it but also in the midst of sizeable work on the house so the Mrs might not be quite as keen as I am.

Appreciate any recommendations, I'm north-west of Bristol so looking Bristol, South Gloucester, Chepstow areas really.

PS - Previous advice on heated seats and central locking all came up great and everything is now working after some TLC, thanks to Blackwolf and Steveww.

Google JC Landrover Ltd who are/were in Oldbury-On-Severn, near Thornbury.

Infact, just checked! they changed their name in 2014 to JC 4x4 Ltd and have moved a couple of miles to Berkeley.

Thanks for the suggestion, that's 2miles from home which is a pleasant surprise. I'll get in touch with them, I've also seen that there's Latitude Overland down in Oldbury who appear to do welding repairs and a good amount of defender work in general, also some nice alternatives to the £800 gullwing windows I've been eyeing up!

2011 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Aintree Green

If JC4x4 are just down the road from you, then its a no brainer.

However, I recently used B G Landrovers over the bridge in Ross-on-Wye and couldn't fault them.

The gave me a little fiesta as a courtesy car, the bill was reasonable and they were really friendly. 2011 CSW XS 90

- There’s also Dan Cuff at Tytherington who have done a good job fixing a couple of problems for me.

I'm back smack in the middle of Tytherington and JC4x4 so that sounds like two great options for nearby locations.
