It's a joying 8 inch 1DIN system (https://www.joyingauto.eu). Normally the screen is attached to the unit itself in the 1DIN slot, but I ordered an extra long cable (1M) to be able to mount the screen in a different location. In this case I used a generic RAM mount that I screwed to the back of the screen.
The unit itself is a purely electronic device that does not take up much space (more 1/2DIN). I mounted it a bit more inward so I could fit a cover. I still need to install the 4G and GPS antennas to get full functionality. I now have TPMS, OBD2, multi-USB, wireless Apple CarPlay and more than I will ever use. |
