Roger that Teario.

Do you realise it’s for a 110 though? (I spot a 90 in your avatar).

Sorry, I’ve taken a deposit on the steering guard and I’m holding it for the buyer to collect first week in March. No reason to think this might fall through but if it does I’ll update the post. Thumbs Up

Hi G_unit,

Roger that. The current situation with the A Bar is Ive taken a deposit on it as it’s lumped in with the Steering Guard. I’ll let you know if anything unexpected happens and the sale falls through.

I saw the bike rack has sold. But I’m wondering what size tyre does it fit over? I’m after a similar type of carrier and nowhere that sells them states tyre width that it fits over

A sale of the bike rack has been agreed but it doesn’t get finalised/collected until this weekend.

The carrier doesn’t “fit over” the wheel as such. It’s a 2 cycle carrier so for each cycle there is a channel in which the wheels fit. The wheels are lashed into this rail with cam buckle type straps. Then there is a clamp on an arm (one per bike), which holds the bike frame. The position of these arms can be altered and rotated so they can clamp onto either a cycle down tube or a cross bar etc.

I don’t know tyre sizes but I’ll get my tape measure out in the morning and let you know the stats of the rails the tyres slot into if that helps?

I don’t have my Defender now so all I can say is that it fit the 235/85R16. Not particularly helpful I know but I can confirm there is scope for other tyre sizes. The cables that wrap around the tyre are attached to a plate and adjustment for other tyre sizes is provided for by anchoring the plate onto any of the slots on a ladder arrangement.

In a nutshell, if it’s not a 235/85R16 I can’t be of much help either. Sorry
