United Kingdom 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 PU Java Black
Indicator cancelling ring...not right?
Changing my steering wheel from original Defender (puma 2011) to a non-original copy (but OK-ish).
My original wheel had cast-in indicator cancelling lugs at 12 and 6 o-clock. The new wheel had a plain bush so I fitted a (NRC7636) spring fit lug ring.
My problem is that the lugs are not vertically aligned...they are more like 1 and 5 oclock and do not align with the blue indicator moulding/receptacle.
The fit of the ring to the wheel was about what I expected so nothing has been overly stressed.
Anyone had this problem before?
I have contacted my suppliers for their comments but I suspect I will be on my own to resolve.
Any thoughts anyone?

For anyone that is interested, this matter is now resolved.
It turns out some aftermarket rings have been made incorrectly, i.e. they do not align with the indicator blue ring slots...having been sent an original LR ring, all is now well.
