Allisport don't actually make their exhuasts, they are made by Demand Engineering. https://demandengineering.co.uk/ I have the TD5 version on my 110 and the welding is a work of art, if I was in the market for another I'd be going straight back.
I bought mine direct from Dan at Demand, they were a pleasure to deal with and were happy to make changes or bespoke options as required. 2005 Td5 110 Hardtop 1989 300Tdi 90 Soft top 1992 200Tdi 90 Truck cab with Land Cruiser axles |

Forgive me for asking, but you do know that on a 2.2 you will also have to delete the DPF, which requires the ECU to be reprogrammed?
I don't know about the regulatory situation in Sweden but suspect that removing the Cat and DPF would be frowned upon if you are found to have done it. |

I also bought an exhaust from Dan at Demand for a 110 Td5 and it makes a sweet sweet sound. Not noticeably louder on idle either just when you plant your foot. Superb company to deal with. I needed one ASAP and Dan made one up the same day and shipped it. Highly recommend.

The 2.4 Puma has a catalytic converter but no particulate filter, and it is easy and inconsequential (though now illegal in the EU) to remove the cat. Just fit a plain pipe and you are done.
The 2.2 Puma has a unit combining the cat with a DPF, and the DPF is under software control which also regulates the engine behaviour when DPF regeneration is taking place. If you disconnect the DPF from the ECM or remove the DPF, the ECM will detect the the DPF malfunction and will illuminate warning lights. I don't know what the effect on the running of the vehicle would be in this case (I don't own a 2.2) but it is highly unlikely that the vehicle will continue to function properly. For this reason, removing the cat and DPF (you can't just remove the cat since it is a combined unit) requires that the ECM software is also modified so that the engine operates correctly without the DPF. There are places which can do this, but clearly there is an expense involved. It is also illegal (certainly in the UK, and I think anywhere in Europe) to modify factory-fitted emissions equipment or to operate a diesel which has had the DPF or cat removed or disabled. I don't know what the consequences are in Sweden, but in the UK they are not insignificant. |

In the 2.2 tdci Defender variants both Catalytic converter and diesel particulate filter are combined in one piece. If you decat your Defender, you also loose the DPF. This is beneficial for fuel economy and engine longevity but baaad for the environment and might affect your MOT test results. ___________________________________

How difficult (and where does one go) to do the ECU changes? Since it’s a farm truck I don’t do any inspection so not worried about that bit but if it’s a pain in the arss to do maybe not worth while

A remap is pretty simple and can be done via mobile phone (OBD2). Speak to Pete Bell @ Bell Auto Services ___________________________________
