I suspect anything bonnet related will be a 2 person job to remove.

A quick search came up with this thread, all I could find. https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82156...net+hinges James

I did it a few weeks ago single handed.

The drivers side (rhs) for you is harder due to pivoto of the stay.

I did lhs first.

Loosen off the old screws, lift bonnet up and remove the one hinge. Fold hinge towards cab screen and it lifts out

Put the new hinge on and loosely tighten it up.

When you loosen the rhs one the bonnet will want to pivot so hold this side and remove hinge put new one on and loosely insert one bolt.

Then align to old place hinges were tighten and job done. Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.

5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details

A carefully placed roll of bubble wrap keeps the bonnet sitting nicely so you are able to remove and replace them Thumbs Up

Still plenty to do. Plan to add a supercharger, just arranging the details on that. Then get the interior sorted, currently trying to get an Audi illuminated gear position to work on my centre console. Andy

After seeing some of the interiors at Twisted, I need a new interior in my life too.

Here’s a couple of ideas of some I snapped

Blimey Onemcs, welcome to the bottomless pit of mods club! You are in good company!! Andy kindly sold me his recaro’s a while back now and they look even better in the flesh and are comfy as hell.

How do you both find the Recaro's on long journeys?

I regularly use my defender for the 100 or so mile trip to the Cotswolds, or more recently visiting all the UK National Parks.

Recaro's are on the list but do really need to try some!

When you jump from the premium seats to the Land Rover Recaros it’s like sitting on a wooden bench. Rolling with laughter

The normal recaros are a softer base for sure.

But you quickly get used to them and appreciate the extra back support. Andy

I went from “normal seats” to recaros. I felt like I sat “on” the normal seats, and “in” the recaros. They are much more supportive. I’ve done 4+ hrs in them and regularly do 2hrs with no downside. Love them but mine are standards recaros v’s the landrover shallow base versions.

With the enormous amount of extraordinally professional, unique work you have performed on your Defender, I feel a bit inadequate suggesting anything.
I think I did mention a supercharger to you on a prior occasion, relative to the "factory" supercharged GM LSA crate engine, which would give you 430KW "out of the box". But as you've already gone down the LS3 route, you probably wouldn't be interested in it now. We have the LSA engine in our HSV GTSR.
The other place that you could check out is Harrop engineering (check out their website https://www.harrop.com.au ), a very large Aussie firm, probably the largest in its field in Aussie, with a world wide reputation, that specializes in Superchargers producing their own, & all sorts of variations, kits etc, for various vehicles, I was at a 4WD show years ago & I think I renmember seeing a defender with one of their engines in it.
Anyway, whatever you do, I shall, as usual, follow things with great interest.
Pickles.
