2001 Defender 110 Td5 HT Caledonian Blue

Do you have a link to that thread ?

Because the part numbers say otherwise: Pickups and RH side windows of HTs are LR044315
(and LR044316 for the LH side).

The HTs and pickups both have 905 mm x 365 mm/ 70 mm radius window openings.

=/= to 90/110 SWs that have 1055 mm x 425 mm ones. 110 HT TD5 w/ PopTop for travelling
110 CSW 300tdi for hunting

PocketFred, that is extremely interesting.

I was going on what was posted before (I can't readily find the thread unfortunately) which was that the rear window in a TC/DC was not the same size as the side windows in an SW, but it is of course only hearsay. If the part numbers are the same it would be hard to argue that the windows are different sizes.

If they are the same it opens up a range of possibilities since any of the gull-wing windows or doors which fit HT side standard apertures should fit the TC/DC.

Since I only have a DC I can't compare the measurements, but if someone was willing to measure their SW windows I would be happy to measure my DC window.

Postscript: I see from Googling that part number that you are absolutely right, many suppliers list it as both side window and rear window.

Measured my Puma 90, just shy of 1090x460mm. That is including window frame, not hole opening, which I cannot measure without taking the trim off.

I believe the Td5 and earlier ones that are riveted, not bonded, have a slightly narrower frame section, but window opening except radius is the same. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

I suspect that Fred is talking about the windows used in the sides of ROW spec hardtops, which don't really register over here. Darren
