Your mods look amazing. I have the led light strip, the same setup of the table.
I need to buy the rear bumper protector.
Where do I get the hidden hobby box for the centre console? that one is really cool!

My car will be delivered, if all goes well in February 2022. so I'm gearing up.. Rolling with laughter 110 D250 SE Tasman Blue, white roof, black pack, advanced towing pack, rear diff locker, driver assist

Thanks Ace Thumbs Up , the centre console box I got from Aliexpress in China, unfortunately the seller I got mine from hasn't got any left but there are plenty of other sellers who can supply them for instance https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002841...6210%22%7D Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

Hairy Dan, how have you mounted your additional roof aerial? Is it on the roof rails and if so how have you led the cable through to the front of the cabin? Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

The aerial you can see is for the pmr system we use and I have a cb aerial mount over on the drivers side, both are mounted on the roof rails via brackets from Ray Dewhurst. The aerial you can see has its wire going across the back of the roof and joins the cb aerial cable and they are fed down behind the gloss black corner section of the D pillar, I did have to take a small nick out of said panel to get two cables down, you may be able to squeeze one cable down without having to grind a section out.

So the two cables are fed down behind that D pillar cover, there's plenty of room behind there and they then go down behind the rear light housing and into the car via a vent behind the lamp. This vent has about 5 or 6 sections and they are covered with rubber flaps, I just made sure that the cable fed through the rubber flaps from the bottom so as to keep the flap in place, relatively. The vents are the same as what's on a Discovery 3 & 4 and FFRR's and probably most newer LR's.

I decided to route the cables down the drivers side as they can be pulled through from where the fuse box and cover is, they then route along the side of the underfloor storage and under the back seats.

One of these and a set of plastic trim removal tools will come in handy Thumbs Up

Hope that all made sense Laughing Cheers Ian

My old 50th Anniversary V8 passed its MOT yesterday with no advisories, not bad for a 24 year old car, so managed to grab a photo of old and new together

Thanks for the aerial routing info - Uncle Ray has made some great bits of kit for D3 and D4 over the years. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

Done a couple of small upgrades today, the reverse lights are crap as standard so managed to get a set from Powerful when there was a discount on Ebay the other week, reasonably easy to fit and although the photos don't show it very well they are much brighter.

I previously fitted the led strip light from Defender3d (I think that's what they are called) which made a big improvement but when the parcel shelf is in place the original LR ones aren't very bright which means the lower boot isn't very well lit. So I ordered a couple of led light units from Aliexpress, they were £10 for 2 units and took just over a week to arrive. Again the photo doesn't do the lamp justice but they are way brighter than the originals Thumbs Up

Went out when it was actually dark and no street lights and the difference is pretty good.

The lower boot lights with the parcel shelf in place

and a couple of shots through the door mirrors, (the orange light is from the blinds spot assist)

As I mentioned last night it's difficult to show the actual differences but I am really impressed with the performance of them and I can finally see when going backwards in the complete dark Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

I’ve done the same, but lights from powerfuluk/defender3d. I also did the door welcome lights. Handy with kids getting in and out at night. And drivers footwell.

Coming from BMWs I have to say the amount and strength of lighting is poor. Not just for these interior lights but also the main beam too (have mentioned in a different thread)
