1986 Defender 130 V8 Petrol HCPU Aintree Green

[Wanted] A good R380 or Puma seat box

I hope to move the seats inboard by an inch on my 127 to create a bit more shoulder room. To enable this I'm looking for a 300tdi / Td5 seatbox with the earlier captive nut plates or a late Puma one so I can modify it to suit. I've looked at YRMs offerings but can't quite justify that sort of expense.

Ideally the seatbox will be corrosion free and nice and straight.

I don't need the battery/toolboxes and am happy to arrange a courier if needs be.

2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 HT Aintree Green

Puma seat box is exactly the same as the R380 seatbox and is likely to be in better condition. They are also better to modify as they did away with the m8 rivnuts for the seat mounting and instead have reinforced steel mounting rails riveted to the underside of the seatbox to which the seat bolts to.

Well you learn something new everyday! I have what I thought was a puma one here but it has M8 rivnuts so perhaps it's td5 after all. Will amend the ad, thank you. 1985 127 V8 Build Thread
